Our Love Beyond Words
On 2019 August 13th by montyMy words cannot encapsulate in rhyme
Th’extent and depth and lasting of our love
And ne’er is there expanse enough of time
To quantify the joy that I speak of.
So, limited in lexicon and phrase,
(For words, unlike our love, have limit end)
I’ll show our love’s eternity in days
Devoted as your lover, like, and friend.
In all and ev’ry manner I can do,
In breath and touch and gaze and smile and shout,
This love we share and th’effect of loving, too,
Shall be apparent ’til the stars go out.
For never did a love so full imbue
As that you feel for me, and I for you.
