I am convinced<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the full moon<\/p>\n\n\n\n
does not exist<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Huge and round<\/p>\n\n\n\n
on the horizon<\/p>\n\n\n\n
glowing ethereally<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Its seas defined<\/p>\n\n\n\n
its shape apparent<\/p>\n\n\n\n
its pull irresistible<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It hangs regally<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a harbinger<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a cosmic mystery<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It may be rock<\/p>\n\n\n\n
it may be cheese<\/p>\n\n\n\n
it may be illusory<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will it hatch<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a golden dragon<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to envelope the world?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will it sink<\/p>\n\n\n\n
deep into the ocean<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to reveal Atlantis?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will it uncurl<\/p>\n\n\n\n
an ouroboros<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in spherical guise?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The watcher<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in the endless sky<\/p>\n\n\n\n
subtly pulling waves<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lunar muse<\/p>\n\n\n\n
waxing and waning<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in the firmament<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pearl of the night<\/p>\n\n\n\n
swimming lazily<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in the sea of stars<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I could swear<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the moon was real<\/p>\n\n\n\n
no shared delusion<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But on my phone<\/p>\n\n\n\n
it looks just like<\/p>\n\n\n\n
